Award-winning director creating documentary and commercial films about what it means to be human.
Cassandra made her directorial debut at Visions du Réel with Two Over Years, a personal essay film, and shortly after won the Jury Award at SXSW for Send Me Home, a 360° documentary about one of the longest-serving exonerees in U.S. history in his surreal new life post-prison. The film went on to become a Vimeo Staff Pick, featured by The Atlantic and Al Jazeera, and selected for the New York Film Festival ’57.
As a creative producer, her work includes a Cannes Lions Award for Pride for Everyone, a Google VR campaign that brought global Pride parades to people who could not physically attend, and a Sundance Film Festival sci-fi short distributed by A24. She also worked as a producer on a feature-length documentary told from inside a radical environmental movement and created a PSA for the Obama Foundation around building safe and supportive communities for boys and young men of color.
She is currently a film director and creative at WBD's Branded Content Studio, where she develops and directs campaigns distributed across CNN and HBO, bringing a human perspective to the work and helping shape how brands connect with audiences at scale.
