Award-winning director and creative producer working across original and branded documentary. Driven by experimental storytelling and subversive acts of truth telling, Cassandra made her directorial debut at Visions du Réel 2018 with TWO OVER YEARS and won the Jury Awards at SXSW and Cinequest 2019 as the director for SEND ME HOME– a short 360° documentary about one of the longest serving exonerees in U.S. history. The documentary has gone on to earn a Vimeo Staff Pick, be featured on The Atlantic and Al Jazeera before going on to play at New York Film Festival ‘57.

Creative producer accomplishments include PEDALING FOR PEACE, Best Documentary winner at the 2020 Brand Film Festival, PRIDE FOR EVERYONE, a Google VR/Doc campaign around LGBTQIA rights and 2017 Cannes Lion Bronze winner, and TORU a 2017 Sundance Film Festival Selection and short optioned by A24.

Cassandra is currently directing at CNN’s branded content studio and independently producing a feature-length documentary told from inside of a radical environmental movement. Based in NYC.
